Life’s walk is often times stressful and full of undue challenges. Counseling is a way to discover inner resources to cope with anything from broken relationships, haunting agony of past abuse, aftereffect of trauma, everyday problems that have become overwhelming to clinical mental disorders. Psychotherapy aims to increase the individual’s personal well-being, healing, and wholeness.
I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and I have been in the field of counseling for over 10 years. I received my M.A. in Marriage Family Therapy from Western Theological Seminary, M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary, and B.A. in Sociology from U.C. Berkeley. The majority of my experience has been working in schools, churches, non-profit counseling centers, family service agencies dealing with crisis situations, and with children in foster homes. My greatest passion is working with children, young adults, individuals, couples, and families. I am currently a clinical member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
